Mrs Sulette van Graan is an innovative, results-proven professional with extensive experience and finely-honed expertise in finance and accounting, investments, auditing and taxation gleaned from exposure in diverse industries such as manufacturing, engineering consulting and auditing.

A chartered accountant with more than 18 years’ experience she is currently the CFO of the Bigen Group and leads by continuously instilling financial probity and accountability. Her ability to adapt seamlessly to constantly evolving accounting processes and technology has resulted in the Group’s continued status as a sustainable and profitable business.

Sulette’s complementary areas of expertise include financial and tariff modelling, business planning, cost recovery, user charging and managing and assisting with personnel and human resources matters. Her invaluable contribution to the Group’s financial health is widely respected and acknowledged.

Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer, Sulette is responsible for strategic financial planning, execution and reporting for the Bigen Group.

Sulette is an innovative, results-orientated professional who continuously instils financial integrity and accountability throughout the organisation. Her invaluable contribution to the Group’s financial health is widely respected and acknowledged. 

Sulette’s extensive experience and finely-honed expertise in finance and accounting, investments, auditing and taxation, gleaned from exposure in diverse industries such as manufacturing, engineering consulting and auditing, enables her to adapt seamlessly to constantly evolving accounting processes and technology.

Following her appointment as a Financial Manager at Bigen in 2008, she completed the Executive Development Programme at Stellenbosch University in 2011 and was selected as a fast-track management candidate in 2012. She is well-versed in providing clients with professional services and advice on sector reform and private sector participation/ privatisation, as well as investment assessment, infrastructure and utility costing and pricing and utility management.
